Our story
KOKORO means “heart” in Japanese.
But the word also represents the spirit, soul, and intention.
That's exactly what I wanted to put into every Kokoro skateboard deck.
Initially, there was a simple idea: to create decks that tell a story. Decks like canvases. Objects that carry something more than just wood and wheels.
Every line, every curve, and every design is conceived as a form of artistic expression.
KOKORO was born from this vision: to create an independent skateboard brand where skateboarding, art, and nature meet.

For me, skateboarding is not just a sport. It's a culture, a way of seeing the world.
A way to turn the street into a playground and express yourself freely. Each trick tells a story of progress. Every fall is part of the journey.

KOKORO involved with associations
During the Kokoro Project fundraising campaign, 5% of Kintsugi model sales (€176) were donated to Alsace Nature.
This initiative, chosen collectively with the community at the end of the campaign, allows every skateboarder, rider, supporter, or art and freedom enthusiast to concretely contribute to environmental preservation.
But the commitment doesn't stop there.
Throughout the year, 5% of sales from all Kokoro boards will also be donated in the form of annual contributions to support projects related to ecology, reforestation, biodiversity protection, and the preservation of our natural spaces.
This year, KOKORO supports Alsace Nature.
Because riding also means taking care of the world that supports us. 🌱
