THE ORIGINS OF KOKORO SEEDS

I wanted boards that tell stories. Mine, perhaps yours too. Boards like canvases, where every stroke of the pencil, every curve, every grain of wood carries a piece of soul. I wanted a brand that speaks of freedom, art, and respect—respect for oneself, for others, and above all, for the nature that surrounds us.

For me, skateboarding isn't just a sport. It's a way to leave our mark without ever damaging what we ride on. That's why Kokoro is committed to a responsible approach, prioritizing sustainable materials and environmentally friendly processes. Because skating is also about protecting the ground beneath our wheels.

There are dreams that are born from a whisper. Mine is Kokoro .

A Japanese word that means heart , soul , spirit . Everything I put into my boards, my drawings, this brand… and my life.

Ever since I was a kid, I've felt this need to create, to leave a mark. Nature, art, music, words… all of it has shaped me. I've always had this desire to blend these worlds, to find a way to express what I truly feel, unfiltered, without fuss. Skateboarding has become that language. A way to explore, to dream, to breathe.

Kokoro Skate Project was born from this desire to do things differently.

And then there's this dream…

One day, I imagine myself skating in the streets of Japan , in Tokyo, in Kyoto, in those alleyways where the old meets the future. It's a country that inspires me enormously, its culture, its traditions, its approach to art and nature. Kokoro is also a bridge between this dream and reality, a way to let my heart travel with every skateboard.

Today, you are part of this story . With this crowdfunding campaign, every contribution, every share, every word of support helps me bring this project to life. It's not just a brand, it's a movement. A gentle cry to say that art, freedom, and nature can coexist .

Kokoro is me, but it's also you.

It is us, all those who believe that a dream can take shape on a board, that an idea can roll further than us.

Each board I create carries a part of my soul, but it only comes to life when someone, somewhere, slides it on concrete, wood, asphalt… and for a moment, you feel free.

ABOUT THE CREATOR

My name is Lino .

I'm a little bit of everything and never completely from one place. A dreamer who spends his time looking for ways to transform what he feels into something tangible. Art, poetry, music, skateboarding, nature… it all blends together in my head, and every day I try to bring something real to life from it.

I'm not trying to run faster than anyone else. I'm trying to live at my own pace , to find a balance between what I'm passionate about and what sustains me. My world is full of contrasts: the silence of the forests and the noise of concrete, the words I write at night and the lines I draw on a board.

Creating, for me, is a necessity. It's my way of breathing.

I spend hours observing, listening, learning… then I let my inspiration take over. Skateboarding is an essential part of my life, not just as a sport, but as a form of expression . A way to forge my own path, to fall, to get back up, to start again.

I also have this thirst for sharing . Sharing ideas, emotions, dreams. I want to build bridges between disciplines, to collaborate with other artists, to tell stories with multiple voices. Kokoro was born from this: from a desire to create, but above all, to create together .

I am someone who doubts a lot, but who deeply believes in the beauty of simple things .
Every step I take, every project I launch, is a fragment of myself that I leave in the world. Maybe it touches, maybe it inspires, maybe it just passes by… but it exists, and that's enough for me.

I don't claim to have all the answers. I move forward, I learn, I fall, I start again. What matters to me are the encounters, the ideas we create together, and those suspended moments when everything seems to make sense .

Dare to create, dare to live, dare to be yourself.
