OUR DECK SERIES
Our first deck model
Inspired by Kintsugi (金継ぎ), a Japanese method of repairing broken porcelain or ceramics using lacquer sprinkled with gold powder.
Free, ethical and responsible artistic expression engraved in the heart and on the wood ♥️
What does Kokoro mean?
Kokoro , in Japanese, means “ heart ”.
But it is also the mind, the soul, the intention.
That's all I wanted to convey in these panels.
Create a brand that respects nature, celebrates creativity and speaks to passionate people.
A brand where art, skateboarding and ecological commitment meet.
You encourage creation, with unique visuals, conceived as true works of art, drawn with heart.
You are helping to protect nature, the nature we travel through, breathe, and that inspires us every day.
You'll be joining a sincere, free and creative community — united by skateboarding, self-expression, and shared values.
Your support is what makes this dream possible.
And for that, I thank you.
"Each page is conceived as a work of art. Every gesture, every choice counts.
And today, with you, I hope to take this dream a little further."

Questions you might have about Kokoro
Where are Kokoro boards manufactured?
Our skateboard decks are manufactured in Spain at the HLC factory, renowned for its expertise and production quality. The factory adheres to strict manufacturing standards and uses responsibly sourced materials.
What type of wood are the planks made of?
Kokoro skateboards are made from 7-ply Canadian maple , a wood renowned for its strength, durability, and flexibility—ideal for technical and long-lasting skateboarding. The wood is FSC certified, guaranteeing responsible forest management.
What sizes and shapes are offered?
Our skateboards are available in three sizes :
- 8" → ideal for beginners, lighter skaters with small feet, or those who like responsiveness. Perfect for street skating and technical tricks.
- 8"375 → a good balance between stability and maneuverability. Suitable for versatile use, both street and park.
- 8.5" → wider, therefore more stable. Great for cruising, cornering, or if you have large feet.
There are no strict rules: it's mostly a matter of feeling. Choose the one that feels right for you. And if you're unsure, aim for balance… your heart will guide you.
All boards are medium concave , with a twin tail shape, for maximum versatility, comfort and control.
For series of unique boards or other collaborations, sizes may vary; in this case, they are specified in the description of each board.
Are the boards sold with all the equipment (wheels, trucks, etc.)?
No. By default, we only offer the bare board , without the accessories needed for a complete assembly (trucks, wheels, bearings, etc.).
However, when complete and assembled versions are offered, this will be clearly stated in the product description and visible in the associated photos .
Is Kokoro committed to the environment?
Yes. Kokoro is working towards more responsible production and consumption:
– Made in Europe (less transport, fewer emissions)
– FSC certified wood
– For each board sold, an annual donation is made to an environmental association; the amount and the association will be announced later this year.
– Reduced, recyclable packaging
Kokoro collaborates with La Grange Workshop by collecting old, worn-out planks and recycling them into handcrafted creations.
