Some boards are meant to be ridden. Others are meant to tell a story.

Embrace is an original artwork handcrafted by the creator of KOKORO. To outline the brand's logo, I used a technique as simple as it is symbolic: black paint applied to my lips, followed by a succession of imprints directly on the board.

Each mark visible on the wood is the result of a real gesture, an artistic performance carried out on September 10, 2024.

This artwork questions the connection we have with our passion. How much can one love something? To dedicate one's time, energy, dreams... or even to embrace one's skateboard.
